The picturesque settlement of Ravdoucha is located approximately 30 km west of Chania on the edge of a steep slope from where it overlooks the Gulf of Kissamos. Due to its location, the area is buffeted by strong winds and from there it got its name. The beach is located directly below the village at the bottom of the slope and is accessible via a downhill road about 2 km long. There is no public transport to the beach and the only way to get here is by car.
